We’re Excited About the Bloomfield Civic Band’s Holiday Spectacular!

And here’s why:

  • We have Allan V. Daleus conducting the world premiere of his arrangement for concert band of Max Reger’s “Benedictus.”
  • We have Holly Flack filling the room with her amazing voice.
  • We have Michael J. Lamparello conducting his arrangement of Mannheim Steamroller’s “Stille Nacht (Silent Night).” (This Christmas is the 200th anniversary of the original “Stille Nacht.”)
  • We have music from Frozen and How the Grinch Stole Christmas that the children will love, whether they’re six or sixty-six.
  • We have arrangements of not one but two Mannheim Steamroller songs for all the Boomers and Gen-Xers.
  • We have a feeling that Santa Claus will pay us a visit.
  • We even have a Christmas march, and it’s not Victor Herbert’s “March of the Wooden Soldiers” or Leon Jessel’s “Parade of the Tin Soldiers.” (Not that those are bad marches, you understand!)

Come and hear what all the excitement is about!

Sunday, December 17, 3:00 p.m. at the Bloomfield Middle School, Huck Road, Bloomfield, NJ.
