Music of the Theater

What do a Gypsy girl from Seville, a Cockney flower girl, and an Ethiopian princess have in common? They’re all scheduled to make an appearance, along with some boys from Jersey and other familiar characters, in the music of the Bloomfield Civic Band on Monday night, July 16th.

Music and storytelling have gone hand in hand for centuries. The Bloomfield Civic Band will celebrate that relationship with a night of Music of the Theater to close out our 2018 series of Concerts on the Green in Downtown Bloomfield.

Please join us for this exciting musical finale at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 16. If it’s raining or very hot we will hold the concert in Sacred Heart Church, next to the Bloomfield Civic Center. Otherwise, please look for us On the Green, directly across Broad Street from the Civic Center and the Bloomfield Public Library.
