Another Great Evening of Music for the Bloomfield Civic Band

Last night’s Tribute to America concert by the Bloomfield Civic Band was a memorable event despite the oppressive heat. Thanks to the good people at Sacred Heart Church, we were able to perform in a beautiful, air-conditioned space. Once again a large and enthusiastic audience did not hesitate to show  appreciation.

The Civic Band’s concert on Monday, July 8, will be memorable as well. At 6:00 p.m. a memorial plaque for Dominick J. Ferrara III will be dedicated at the Bloomfield Civic Center. A reception and light refreshments will follow, and then the Civic Band will begin its concert across Broad Street On the Green at 7:00 p.m. We invite you to join us for a Night of Jazz and a musical tribute to Dominick!

In the meantime, we wish you a happy and safe Independence Day and we encourage you to consider Bloomfield’s Independence Day celebration:

Independence Day Celebration – Wednesday, July 4th
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. at Foley Field
Musical Performance by The Kootz at 8:00 p.m.
9:20 p.m. – Fireworks Extravaganza
